I’ve been using Windscribe for a few months now, mainly for a bit more privacy online, and I’ve been happy with it. Signing up was easy and didn’t ask for a bunch of personal info, which I appreciated. Their no-logs policy seems straightforward, and the firewall/kill switch feature makes me feel a lot better when I’m on public Wi-Fi. Speeds have been totally fine for what I need too. Overall, it’s simple, reliable, and does exactly what I got it for.

"Super easy to get going on my laptop"
I downloaded Windscribe on my laptop and had it up and running in about 5 minutes. The login was straightforward, and the app gave just enough guidance without popping up every two seconds. No install issues at all. Based on this setup, I’d guess it’s probably painless for most people to get started with.

"Pretty solid for torrents, actually"
I’ve been using it for torrenting and it works fine most of the time. Speeds are usually decent, although sometimes they drop a bit, actually, not just a bit on some days, but it usually comes back around

I’ve been using Windscribe for a bit now, and for regular browsing it’s been solid. It’s easy to set up and use, which I appreciate, but I do wish the instructions or details around the free data limit were a little clearer upfront. I tend to run out faster than I expect if I watch videos or download anything. Overall, it does what I need it to do, so I’d still give it 4 stars, I just wish the free limit was a bit higher or explained better

"Clean and easy to use"
I really like the way the app looks. It’s just... simple, in a good way. Everything is easy to find, the buttons make sense, and it doesn’t feel all packed together like some other VPN apps I’ve tried. The dark mode is nice too. I’m not really a tech person, but I can use this without having to think too hard, which is kind of exactly what I wanted.

Ive been using Windscribe free for a few months now, and its been totally fine for what I need. The data limit feels fair, especially for basic browsing, and I havent really run into any issues. No complaints from me so far.

I’ve been using the windscribe browser extension for a while now and it’s been solid. It’s easy to turn on the locations load fast enough and most sites still work fine with it running. Every now and then it takes a little longer to connect or I have to refresh a page after switching servers which is kind of annoying but not a dealbreaker. The blocker features are useful too and the app is simple to figure out. I’d give it 4 stars because it does what I need just not perfectly.

"Reliable enough to just leave on"
I’ve been using Windscribe for a while now, and the biggest thing I appreciate is that it just stays connected. With other VPNs, I’d get random drops and have to keep checking if I was still protected, which got annoying fast. With this one, I usually turn it on in the morning and leave it running all day without thinking about it. Speeds have been good enough for everyday stuff like browsing, streaming, and work, so it’s been practical for me.

I was having trouble with windscribe disconnecting on my laptop, which was frustrating. Support suggested changing the protocol and resetting my firewall settings. It took a little time to sort out, but it’s working great now, so I’m happy with the result! I just wish the replies had come a bit faster.

"Love the flexibility"
I really like that I can just pick what I actually need instead of getting pushed into some huge plan. The build-a-plan option has been great for me since I only need a couple of locations, and it’s super easy to change when I need to. I’ve been using it on and off, it’s been smooth and hassle-free.
